First and foremost it is a miracle that Damar Hamlin is alive and interacting with his family. Amazing for the NFL community.
Is it just me or do all the playoff scenarios that are possible during the final week constantly confuse me like a calculus class?
Of course the Jets, Jets’d. Yes I turned the constant collapses of the New York Jets into a verb, it is only fitting.
Mike Tomlin not ever having a losing season, is pretty incredible considering the lackluster teams he has had and how difficult it is competing in the AFC North.
Mark my words, Trevor Lawerence will win his first playoff game and will start a new era of Jaguars success.
Jeff Saturday, one of the best centers of all time, wants to be considered for the Colts job after being the interim head coach for most of the year. But he is forgetting one critical thing: the Colts consistently faltered under his leadership in crucial and embarrassing losses to the Vikings (the biggest comeback win ever) and pretty much the rest of the NFL. Saturday was 1-8 during his tenure as head coach. That’s like getting a D- in your english class and then asking to become a teacher’s aid. It isn’t happening.
Oh my! The Seahawks do the NFL playoff equivalent of Indiana Jones sliding under the trap door and not forgetting his hat with their 19-16 win against the Rams and the Packers loss. Speaking of the Packers…
Tisk, tisk, tisk to the Packers and Aaron Rodgers. Yes, Aaron deserves a significant part of the blame for the Packers’ underwhelming season and the team literally failing at every attempt to gain control of their season. On the other side of the ball it was great to see the Lions make it back to the playoffs and the gamut of emotions could be felt in this clip from Detroit Lions RB and star of HBO Hard Knocks, Jamaal Williams.
