Week 5

  • Watching my Buccaneers get swiss cheesed by Kirk Cousins on Thursday Night Football and choke away the game was the most memorable loss in quite some time.
  • Speaking of Kirk Cousins, why did he have to ruin Matt Ryan’s night while he was being inducted into the Atlanta Falcons Ring of Honor by shattering his franchise single-game passing record?  Matt Ryan has probably the worst luck of any top tier QB I have ever seen.
  • Bo Nix is playing way better than I thought he would at this point in the season.
  • Man the last 10 minutes of Cardinals-49ers was riveting TV.
  • This meme says it all about how Stefon Diggs feels about his former team, the Bills. 
  • Of course Robert Saleh gets fired and it hasn’t got anything to do with Aaron Rodgers. Of course…
  • Did we see an early AFC championship preview with the Ravens vs. Bengals? I think we may have.

Week 6

  • All I could hear people talk about in the nation’s capital was the Battle of the Beltway between the Ravens and Commanders. It is actually a potent rivalry given both teams are actually good this year.
  • The Commanders just couldn’t contain Derrick Henry but only came up short by a touchdown, and it’s safe to say that Jayden Daniels is a franchise QB for the Commanders.  
  • Are Trevor Lawerence and Daniel Jones the same QB? Similar statistics, crummy win loss records, but one has amazing blonde hair so we don’t talk about him in the same vein.
  • I thought Jordan Love might have been a fluke with the Packers last year. Man, was I wrong. He looks like the Packers’ QB for the next five years. 
  • Old man QB Joe Flacco keeps getting it done as a backup by securing a win against the Titans for the Colts.
  • I think the kids have a term for the 47-9 beating that the Cowboys endured against the Lions…belt to ass.
  • The Raiders are in a downward skid and I wonder how much this has to do with the trade rumors and unhappiness of star receiver Davante Adams. I suspect a lot.
