I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and if you didn’t at least it was better than the Chicago Bears’.
The last 30 seconds of the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions game was an example in situational football futility by now ex-coach (fired the day after the game) Matt Eberflus who stated after the game, “I liked what we did there”.
Oh, the NFL is getting too greedy with now having a game on Black Friday in addition to the Thanksgiving games. I know the NFL isn’t rigged, but I understand if someone thinks it’s rigged given the ending of the Raiders vs. Chiefs game. It doesn’t help that it seems like Patrick Mahomes, the NFL’s golden boy, is always on the favorable end of “interesting” referee calls.
I was happy to see my Buccaneers win against the Panthers in OT but it was also great to see Bryce Young get his confidence back and see flashes of what made him special at Alabama.
How are the Bengals 4-8 even though Joe Burrow is putting up an MVP stat line of 3,337 passing yards, 30 TDs and only five interceptions? I understand why Ocho was crying on his podcast with Shannon Sharpe.
I think we’ve all collectively agreed that the Ravens have to take Justin Tucker out back like Old Yeller and put him out of his misery. They don’t need even need to cut him, they can bench him and just put in his backup. Even though he has had a stellar resume, it’s clear that he’s single handedly cost the Ravens games this season.
Let’s all say it together: AARON RODGERS IS OFFICIALLY WASHED! The Jets might have to bring in a Haitian voodoo lady at this point to get the franchise turned around.
