At the risk of sounding immodest, this little site of ours is kind of humming right now. We’ve built a comprehensive election model, we’re churning out other election coverage, and even found time to get into a back and forth with a certain election prognosticator. But amidst all of that activity, there’s probably one area of the site that you’ve noticed has slowed down a bit: podcasts

We’ve produced a wide range of podcasts over the past few years, covering everything from vice presidents to movies, and even movies (kind of) about presidents. But we’ve pulled back in recent months as we’ve tried to focus on our writing and our modeling, and also figure out how to turn what’s often been the most difficult to organize aspect of our project into something a little more streamlined.

Well, we think we’ve come up with a solution: today we launched the new Postrider Podcasts feed, which will act as one-stop shopping for all of your Postrider podcast needs. Instead of having to subscribe to multiple shows to hear us jabber about politics, movies, and whatever else crosses our mind, all you’ll have to do is follow the Postrider Podcasts feed on Spotify or Apple Podcasts and get it all at once. We’re launching the feed with our new biweekly politics show, The Postrider Roundup, which will debut the last week of October and help keep you up to date and organized on the latest goings on in DC and on the campaign trail.

Our old feeds aren’t going anywhere, and will live in posterity so you can reminisce through episodes past or check out our triumphant quadrennial return to Running Mates. But from here on out, everything we do will live in the Postrider Podcasts feed, and The Postrider Roundup will be the extent of our podcasting efforts for the time being.

Don’t just think about this move as a new venture for us – think of it as a promise, to you, the loyal reader and listener, that we’re once again committed to turning out entertaining and thought provoking content on a regular basis. So boot up your favorite podcast platform and hit that subscribe or follow button (Spotify, Apple, Amazon) – we’ve got a feeling that, over the next couple of months, we’ll have a lot to talk about.
