The Postrider is seeking someone to join the team as a Director of Marketing who can assist with our online marketing, including social media management, branding, and external engagement. This work is currently being performed by our CEO and Editor-in-Chief.

Ideally, this individual would manage our weekly newsletter, our social media accounts, and ensure we’re following best practices to get the word out so as to drive up both views of The Postrider and engagement with our content. 

The Director of Marketing would participate in yearly board meetings and weekly or biweekly planning meetings and have a budget of around $100-$400 per year for marketing purposes. They would enjoy near complete liberty to develop the voice of our social platforms as they see fit and, working closely with the CEO, have significant input in all marketing strategies and decisions. 

Time commitment is roughly two hours per week and equity negotiable up to 5% would be provided after one year of successful onboarding and results. Anyone in this position would also be encouraged to contribute content to The Postrider if interested.
