Lars worked in new media journalism and has a background in congressional journalism and economics and political science with an emphasis in Congress, financial crises, labor economics, and monetary policy. He's worked for The Economist, CQ Roll Call, and the Las Vegas Review-Journal. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science, as well as a J.D. from American University, where he served as the online editor for and was ultimately published in the American University Law Review. When not working to keep the site's lights on, Lars can be found running in the DC humidity. He hopes one day to leave his vast estate of future dues from this website to his cat, Dakota.
