Michael has been the Editor-in-Chief of The Postrider since it was launched in 2018. He previously contributed articles to WVAU.org (where he also hosted Truth, Justice, and the American Way with Michael Lovito and served as Music Director), The Districtand Sing Along Psalms, a personal music blog. He hosts The Postrider's flagship podcast, Pony Express, and co-hosts the Watching Mates and Running Mates podcasts. His work has appeared in Salon, The Righting, Brooklyn Magazine, the Morristown Green and Pavement Pieces. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from American University and a Master of Arts in Magazine Journalism and Digital Storytelling from New York University.
